Q. Who is The Cigar Box?

A. The Cigar Box is one of Scotland's leading independent cigar merchants. Established in 1999, our small cigar shop is located on one of Scotland's most famous streets - the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Our knowledgeable and passionate team is led by experienced cigar specialist, Gregor Black. We stock a wide range of cigars, cutters, pipe tobacco and accessories. We are a sister brand to Royal Mile Whiskies, Scotland's leading specialist whisky retailer established in 1991, and Drinkmonger, a purveyor of fine wines and good spirits with stores in Edinburgh and Pitlochry.

 

Q. I'm new to cigars, where should I start and which cigar should I pick?

A. We pride ourselves on having some knowledgeable cigar specialists here at The Cigar Box. Just get in touch with us via our online contact form  and we will be more than happy to make some recommendations and guide you through the selection of choosing the most suitable cigars for your needs.

A. If the cigar product you are looking for is not included on our online website catalogue, please contact our team via our online contact form and we will check to see if we have it available or in-store, try to get it for you or make a similar product recommendation.

 

Orders and Delivery

Q. Can you deliver cigars and/or tobacco products to me?

A. We can deliver cigars and/or tobacco products to all addresses in the United Kingdom and select locations around the world. Please visit our delivery page for more information regarding our shipping costs and countries that we unfortunately cannot ship cigars or tobacco to.

 

Q. Can I collect my order from your Edinburgh shop?

A.  Yes! We offer a free collection service from The Cigar Box, 361 High Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1PW. Please allow 2 working days before collection, you will be contacted by a member of staff when your order is ready to be collected.

 

Q. How will my cigars and/or tobacco products be delivered?

A. For UK deliveries, our courier partner is DPD. For international deliveries, our courier partner is DHL. We will aim to dispatch your order the next working day from purchase. Once you have placed your order, you will receive an order confirmation

 

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

A. We accept all major debit and credit cards. Unfortunately, we cannot accept Paypal or American Express. If you find that you can't place your order through our website, please call our office and we can help +44 (0)131 524 9380.

 

Q. What is your returns policy?

A. It is your legal right to cancel your order up to 14 days from when you have physically received your delivery. Please email [email protected] with details of the order number, your name, address and contact details. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us and to ensure that the products are adequately packaged, to avoid any possible damage. We will issue a refund for the cost of the product(s) once we receive them in good condition. Please read our full returns policy.
