Founded in 1863 by Frederick Charatan on Mansell Street in London the Charatan family has worked and attained greatness from small beginnings and their hard work  has ensured that they will hold a lasting legacy in the cigar world with the family themselves being involved with the company until the 1960s, as of now TOR has acquired the Charatan brand and has since moved production to the esteemed Joya De Nicaragua factory, Charatan cigars are made from the finest Nicaraguan grown Havana and Indonesian tobacco exclusively for sale in the UK market
